Cold work tool steels are designed for conditions requiring high wear resistance, toughness and compressive strength, where the operating temperature does not exceed 200°C.
It is especially used in industrial fields such as cold cutting blades, punches, cold extrusion dies, shears, circular saws and tapping tools.
